Our story.
We are Lorraine & Gabriel – parents like you.
Full of hope, full of anticipation and yes, also full of uncertainty.
I am pregnant.
And with that one sentence, everything changed.
Suddenly you're no longer just thinking about yourself.
You feel for two. You worry twice as much. You love infinitely.
But with love comes responsibility.
We wanted to do everything right.
Give your best, right from the start.
So we did what many do:
We trusted tablets and recommendations.
All the things that are supposed to be "good for you and your baby".
But the seemingly best solution felt wrong.
Lorraine struggled with each pill; swallowing was unpleasant.
A small inner resistance every day.
What began as care turned into a burden.
And out of love – a bad feeling.
We asked ourselves:
Why does something that is supposed to be good feel so agonizing?
Out of this suffering arose our passion project Velanth Mama.
We wanted to create something that feels like loving support.
Something that strengthens you – but doesn't weigh you down.
